My house now has a roof again, yay! It's wonderful not to be so riveted to the weather forecasts!
I've finished a major writing project. With the help of my quilting wheel to cut the pages, I've produced 20 mini-novels of 1/4 A4 size, bound them and sent them off to people who might be interested in them. They are the first 3 chapters of 'Max Grave conducts some business'. So far, David Walliams' agent has sent one straight back, with a curt note...and spelt my name wrong!
Hey ho, I've scattered my bread on the waters & we shall see what happens.
I have also made a slow & painful start on novel no 5. After so many months spent on Max, it's a real challenge to think of some fresh characters! Some days, I think I'm winning, and others...meh.
